Happy Halloween and Maddie's 2 month birthday!

Katelin was a pumpkin fairy for Halloween...she loved it. Wasn't quite sure what to do, but loved walking around at our town "Trunk or Treat." Of course, I didn't let her have any candy...hey, what she doesn't know won't hurt her! She doesn't even know what candy is, and I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible!

Madisen is two months old now and doing great. She is smiling like crazy and trying so hard to giggle. Right now we are just getting some cooing that is a sorta laugh.

Katelin was a total stinker and cried almost the whole time. This is one of the two pictures out of 10 where she wasn't crying. We did a retake a week later and made Daddy stay home...that made all the difference in the world. I'll post a couple of those once I get them.

Pumpkin Patch

Went to a local pumpkin patch on Thursday so Katelin could go on a hay ride and go pumpkin hunting. She had a ball. Here are some cute pics

Just an update. Madisen is doing wonderfully. A great nurser, a great sleeper, and she (so far) hardly ever cries. Here are some cute pictures

Ready or Not, Here I Come!

For those who haven't heard, baby Madisen has arrived...a week early. Madisen Lynn Norton was born Sunday, August 31st at 2:35 AM. Weighing in at 6lbs 11oz and 20 inches long. She has a FULL head of dark blonde hair and blue eyes and as pink as can be. She is adjusting well, a good nurser and getting the hang of staying asleep.

And baby makes 4...almost!

Well, unfortunately no baby yet...two weeks left, so she'll be here before we know it. Happy to report that Becky has only gained 35 pounds with this baby...so losing the baby weight shouldn't be too hard. Also happy to report that she has no stretch marks...yeah!!! With Katelin, she gained 55 pounds and had a handful of stretch marks.

Summer Vacation

Well, the month of July has been very busy for us. We spent a week in Ogden, UT visiting Eric's brother's family the first week of the month. Then towards the end of the month we traveled to Florence, OR to camp for a week with Becky's family. Camping was fun and sunny, but cold. I guess we're used to the hot summers over here in Idaho. Didn't take any pictures when we were camping but got some video. Once we get that downloaded to the computer, we'll attempt to get it up on the website.

Katelin had a ball both places. She's growing up so fast. Not saying lots of words (she says "Hi" all the time), but jabbers constantly. She's apparently got a lot to say. She'll be a good big sister...little sister is due in about 4 weeks.

Here are some cute pics of Katelin. The bottom ones are of her in her new toddler chair. She sits in it and watches "Elmo's World." She is addicted to "Elmo's World," and she'd sit and watch it all day long if I let her!

Vacation 2008

Just got back from a week vacation in Eden, UT (near Ogden). Had a great time. Eric's brother, wife and 2 yr old daughter Izzie came to visit from SLC for a few days. Katelin and Izzie had a blast playing together...at least when they weren't stealing eachother's toys! :)
